Totnes Jazz Workshop
We welcome everyone regardless of age or musical ability to become involved in playing jazz.
A reasonable grasp of music and understanding of your instrument is an advantage, but don't worry, we welcome musicians of any standard to come along and have a go!
The workshops cover a wide range of music, including Blues, Jazz Standards, Funk, African and Reggae.
Our philosophy is for people to enjoy music in a friendly atmosphere, whilst improving their skills and confidence. Anybody wishing to practice improvisation is encouraged to do so and has plenty of opportunity.
The workshop meets every Tuesday in St John's church, Bridgetown, Totnes between 7.30 - 9.30pm with a small charge of £3 per session to cover costs.
